St. Jude Family,
As we enter May, our final days of the school year are filled with activities. Recently, we had a Mother-Son Bowling Night at Bowlero, a great time was had by all. In addition, our 8th graders received the sacrament of confirmation last week! It is wonderful to have the leaders of our school glowing with the Holy Spirit.
Grandparents Day & May Crowning – May 3rd
Tomorrow, Friday, May 3rd grandparents and parents are invited to attend our Spring Program and May Crowning. Grandparents, parents and students are invited to bring flowers to participate in the May Crowning. The schedule for the day is as follows:
8:00 a.m. - Light refreshments will be served in the parish hall for grandparents/special guests.
8:45 a.m. - Students will join their grandparent/guest and walk over to the church. If you
have flowers, please proceed down the main isle and place your flowers in the
9:00 a.m. - Mass
10:00 a.m. - Spring Program “Don’t Rock the Boat” is in the gym. After the Program, students will return to their classrooms to pack up. Grandparents/special guests/parents may join their student to see their classrooms or wait for them to return to the gym.
- If your students do not have a special guest visiting them that day, they will stay with their teacher and you will need to park your car and come into the school office to pick up your student for dismissal.
- If your child is going to stay for aftercare on May 3rd, they must bring a lunch from home.
Spring Program dress: Students should be in their school uniform.
St. Cecilia Fine Arts Program: May 9
We will be hosting our St. Cecilia Fine Arts Program to showcase the St. Jude Choristers, Junior Choir, piano/voice solos, etc. The date is Thursday, May 9th at 6:00 p.m. in the Parish Hall.
Athletic Banquet: May 15th
Students (4th – 8th grade) who participated in football, volleyball, basketball, co-ed volley and poms are invited to our annual athletic banquet. See attached flyer for details.
All tuition accounts must be a zero balance before the end of the school year. You should be receiving your tuition statement in today’s family envelope. Thank you for being attentive to your obligations to the school. Please call the business office if you have a question.
Registration Procedure for NEXT School Year
· Go online to enroll http://stjudejoliet.net/intent%20to%20enroll and pay the registration fee of $100.
· Fill out your Tuition Contract - once it is emailed to you.
· Print & Complete the school forms which will be emailed to you once your tuition contract is submitted.
· If your student is entering Kindergarten, 2nd, or 6th grades they will need updated physicals, dental, and vision exams. Please make those appointments so these forms are turned in before the first day of school.

Adoration Chapel Invite – Pray with Jesus
Parent Board invites you to come pray with Jesus at St. Jude’s Adoration Chapel before/after dropping off the kids at school. The Adoration Chapel is open 24 hours a day. Use Code 1197#.
