St. Jude Family,
This will be our last newsletter before Thanksgiving and I think it is natural to count our blessings and to express our gratitude to our generous God at this time of year. What are you thankful for?
We are thankful to our St. Jude Student Council members working together to collect and box the generous donations all of you have made to Operation Care Package. Tomorrow, Friday, is the last day our Student Council will be collecting items to support men and women who are called for duty to serve our country. If you have donations that have not been brought into school, please bring them Saturday, November 17th from 9AM – 4PM and the CCW will add them to our collection.
I am most thankful for the wonderful gift of new life that our loving God has graced my family with recently. Theresa Kathryn Stangler was born at 5:51 a.m. on Sunday, November 11th weighing in at 7 lbs 1 oz and 20 inches long. Experiencing the gift of life has been the greatest display of God’s miracles in my opinion. I am grateful to my beautiful wife, Johanna, and Theresa’s two big brothers, Elijah and Nolan.
Having our third child has brought to light many of the reasons that I am grateful to work at St. Jude. I love working in a place where I can express my faith openly. I am incredibly grateful for the tremendous amount of well-wishes I have received from all corners of our community. I am grateful to work with such a wonderful staff that will take such great care of our school while I am on paternity leave.
God’s blessings for a Happy Thanksgiving,

Morning Prayer Group: Adoration Chapel
Join your friends in the adoration chapel. What friends? The ones you will meet when you join us any day Monday thru Friday from 7:30am-8:00am in the St. Joseph Adoration Chapel at St. Jude’s. What is adoration? It’s simply spending time with Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. You don’t have to do anything special. Some people bring a book to read, some pray the rosary, and others meditate or sit quietly. I’ve heard adoration described as “Son bathing” sitting in the presence of the Lord and soaking in His grace. Life is hectic, stressful and full of noise. Adoration is a chance to refocus and power down away from distractions. Give it a try! You really have nothing to lose, not even time. When you sacrifice time (the most precious thing we possess) for the Lord, He always returns it. Fact – You can never out give God. Parent Board hopes to see you M-F 7:30-8am in the Chapel. Please note after next week, to access the chapel a code will need to be entered in the key pad. Use code: 11974.
